Skills development for dating in the modern world

From a very young age we have been instructed to form enduring rich and productive relationships with other folks that are meant to last the entirety of our lives. Mostly called getting married.

And the only instructions we have received have come from the TV shows we watched, the movies we saw, or the books we read. That instruction was usually supplied to us in an implied form - the way the romantic lead operated, the way one person rejected another, the way men's and women's groups viewed each other. however these were not documentaries. These were all, every last one of them, the product of the vivid imaginations of authors, script writers, screen writers, comedians, and others who's sole purpose was our entertainment, engagement, advertising of their own world view, displaying their own good bad or indifferent experiences of life.
